Who We Are

The Church of New Beginnings (TCONB) is a non-denominational Christian church located in North East, Washington D.C. We are a Christ-centered, Bible believing congregation. We strive to glorify God by leading people to Jesus Christ, developing one another to Christ-like maturity, and equipping one another for life-long service to God.

We fellowship every Sunday at 10:40am both in person and virtually through Zoom. We hope to see you at one of our services soon!

OUR HISTORY

The following key dates mark important milestones in TCONB's history:

  • May 26th, 2019: The date TCONB, formerly Rhema on The Grove (ROTG), first began meeting for Sunday services. 

  • September 12th, 2021: The date congregants voted to officially become a church.

  • January 12th, 2022 : The adoption of the official name through congregational voting, from "Rhema on The Grove" to The Church of New Beginnings.

  • March 22nd, 2022: The date TCONB was officially incorporated and recognized as a church by the District of Columbia

  • March 18th 2023: The date that the charter Board of Directors, consisting of seven members, was officially elected through congregational vote. 

  • March 22nd 2025: The Church of New Beginnings (TCONB) approached a new chapter in its church history. Dr. Antony E. Daley, Jr. was installed as the first pastor of the Church of New Beginnings and Mrs. Tashna Morris-Daley, Eli (Antony E. Daley, III.) and Lukie (Luke Antony Daley) were recognized as the First Family.

  • March 23rd 2025: Pastor Daley preached his first sermon as the new pastor of TCONB.
